Identita integrates its powered card tokens to offer a higher level of security and integration with Public Key Infrastructure. PKI is an essential feature of state-of-the-art encryption products. Most products today do not perform authentication of the hardware token at pre-boot time. Unlike Identita, which validates against the EchoSystem platform to process pre-boot authentications with powered card PKI, other encryption products may only interface with the tokens after Windows starts, thereby still carrying the weakness of password-only solutions and the disks are protected only by passwords! For the highest leves of security, Identita performs authentication at pre-boot at all times.

Cartes is the largest digital security and identification exhibition in the world. The 2008 event, is scheduled for November 4,5,6 in Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, France.
